M: Quentin it's a very big honour for our festival having you here, watching the movies and also speaking with us. First of all: do you like this kind of festival?
QT: Oh yes. Of Course. I like so much this little and interesting kind of 'underground' festival, where you can relax watching b-movie in little theatres very similar to my favourite ones when I was fifteen, sixteen.. It's a very far situation from the big film festivals, here it's like some private screenings.
JM: Thank you so much. Quentin, everybody knows about your passion for b-movies and your last film 'Grindhouse' is, just starting from the title, a really big homage to the b-movies of the Seventies..
QT: Yeah. My cinema background is full of grindhouse movies especially from Far East and from Italian cinema like Sergio Leone, Lucio Fulci, Bava and many others.
JM: About new Italian cinema, after yours declarations in the last Cannes Film Festival, we have hard about a sort of fight with Italian directors and filmmaking.
QT: In fact I think Italian cinema of the last years is not what I mean for 'cinema'.
JM: And you can't save no one new Italian movie?
JM: So, let's see this movie. We hope you'll enjoy at the festival.
QT: I'm sure man. Thanks.
